Red Umbrella Prayers
Are you praying and believing for specific things this year? It’s important to pray with hope and expectation—with faith—like the story about a little girl who came to a church prayer meeting. A farming community was in a drought, so the church came together to pray. This young girl sat in the front row and beamed with excitement. She came prepared for God to say, “Yes.” She brought a red umbrella with her and had it laying on the ground next to her, just waiting to be used. The rest of the congregation simply came to pray for rain while she had come to see God’s answer.

Even when situations are turned upside down, God breathes life into circumstances. What satan intends for evil, God can and will use it for good. Satan’s purpose is to kill, steal, and destroy, but God breathes life and restoration. Nothing can stop God from what He wants to do in and through you. Are you praying and believing for something specific? Prepare for rain… expect God to say, “Yes.”

Philippians 1:6 (Amplified) “And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ—right up to the time of His return—developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”
